| Basically yes! we are the country known to as having the most expensive medicines, that is why the culture of the Filipinos have greatly disregarded health, even in the budget pies of each family, health has the smallest budget, and sadly sometimes.. its not even a part of the budget.. | |

This was in our healthcare class too... Maam Bacayo also said something about the prices are expensive because of the advertising... Is this the main cause of the expensive medicines? Also, In other countries, is it not allowed to advertize drugs and medication via mass media?  | |

| yes, it is not allowed,.. this is also a cause of a mislead to the viewers thinking that the generic differs from the branded medicines. which is not true, ,they are the same.. but branded are expensive,, why? because of the advertisments.. | |
